Just a quick reminder… only students who turn in lab reports are eligible for scholarships, per our rules.  I look forward to continuing receving some today!

For those of you interested in the California State Trebuchet competition that took place last weekend, the High School team from our region, Costa Mesa High, won.  A Middle school from Fresno, McCabe middle school, is representing our middle schools in Maryland.   I will be honest… it will take a tremendous effort for any of our UCR teams to ever return to those levels of competition.  I hope we  have kids and teachers next year that will put it in the countless hours and effort to succeed in the national design competition.  Many of your kids probably couldn’t imagine that kind of effort.  For me, I am satisfied with learning and effort.  If our kids do this, and compete well, I’m happy.
